Mick Fanning Print
'Mick Fanning' (2020)
Giclee Cotton Rag Mat Smooth Print
Mick Fanning is celebrated as one of the most famous contemporary surfing legends, a title which has been steadfastly earned across his illustrious career as three times ASP world champion (2007, 2009 and 2013), holder of 22 victories across championship tours, nine times voted Australian Male Surfer of the Year, and survivor of shark stalkings at the notorious J-Bay. Mick attributes his motivation and drive to become the world's best to honour his brother Sean who shared this dream but had this tragically cut short at 20 years of age. Mick continued to show the resilience and devotion when confronted with the tragic news of his oldest brother's (Peter) death during a final championship heat at Pipeline against Kelly Slater and John John Florence. A proud member of the Kirra Surfriders Club, Mick is one of the fastest surfers in the world, known as “grease lightning” and a humble legend and inspiration to us all. Mick, Joel and Dean Morrison became the new 90’s Coolie kids.
