Emily received the honour of the 2022 Jennie Neumann's Emerging Artist Award and Swell Sculpture People's Choice Award for her entry.
This work pays tribute to the original mythological depiction of "The Pillars of Hercules" by Spanish artist Gines Serran-Pagan situated in Ceuta, known as the edge of the ancient world, and reflects on its significance in a contemporary context.
'Ne Plus Ultra' was proudly made in collaboration with Ryan Vince Constructions, and the support of OM Engineering and The Ding Shop Miami.
