New Dawn, New Day honours two resilient and joyful icons of Australia’s eastern dunes: the superb fairy-wren and the coastal banksia. Through intricate pyrography and painted detailing, the work reflects on their spirit of community, resilience, and adaptation in a world of constant change. Created using layered pine and steel, the sculpture invites a quiet moment of recognition for the fragile ecologies that shape us and the small wonders that endure.
